All searches retrieve articles with the requested characteristics

"Basic Search" parameters:

• Boolean Operators: "AND" requires that both terms on either side of the "AND" be present in the articles retrieved, whereas "OR" requires that only one of them be present.
• Exact String Searches
• Field definitions
  • "Keyword" includes creator, title, field, genre and region
  • "Creator" includes both authors and translators

Limits (all non-"Basic Search" parameters):

• Assumed Booleans:
  • Between the Basic Search and the Limits, "AND" is assumed
  • If no Basic Search items are entered, the program will ignore the Basic Search
  • Between Limit fields, "AND" is assumed
  • Within Limit fields, "OR" is assumed
