Duplication Services

Media Services can copy or transfer videotapes and audio cassettes. We can also convert foreign video standard VHS (PAL, SECAM) cassettes to US standard (NTSC).

Videotape duplication is billed at a rate of $15.00 per program hour plus the cost of the blank media.

Videotape to DVD+RW transfers are billed at $15.00 per program hour plus the cost of DVD+RW stock.

Media Services will not duplicate copyright protected materials without prior written permission from the copyright holder. Please see the University's Copyright@Brown page for copyright information.

Please come into our main offices to discuss your duplication request. We evaluate each order to give you an accurate cost and turnaround timing. We are not set-up to do large orders. We provide this service as a convenient means of making single and very small orders for our patrons.
