What do I need to install in order to view the videos?
- You must have a browser plug-in able to handle mp4/MPEG-4 files. For Mac and Windows computers, the easiest way to get this is to have 'QuickTime' installed on your computer. QuickTime is available free of charge for both Mac and Windows platforms at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/. For Linux users, one of the more popular multimedia players is mplayer.
I believe I have QuickTime installed, but it's not working.
- Each browser connects to QuickTime's resources slightly differently. A re-installation of QuickTime may allow your browser software to play these videos correctly.
I see the video but there's no sound.
- Being connected to the VPN client seems to interfere with the audio on these files. Disconnect from the VPN client.
Why can't I use Real's RealPlayer or Windows Media Player to view these videos?
- As of August 2005, these companies have not yet updated their players to play the mp4 file-format.
Which file format is streamed by these videos?
