Subjects & Interests
I am responsible for most subjects concerning the pre-modern world: Ancient Studies, Egyptology, Classics, Medieval Studies, Renaissance & Early Modern Studies, but I also cover some areas of modern history. I am also the curator of the medieval manuscripts and early printed books in the John Hay Library.
My training is in medieval history, and I am currently writing a Ph.D. disseration in that field at Columbia University. You can find out more about my research interests in the Directory of Research and Researchers at Brown:
