Google Scholar
Google Scholar uses the Google search engine to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports.
Google Scholar results include links to Brown University Library resources. These links will appear automatically if you search from an on-campus computer; off-campus you must go to "Scholar Preferences" and search for "Brown". Please note that you must also log into your VPN client or to EZPROXY if you are off-campus.
The Brown links appear as:
- Find It @ Brown Full Text at the end of the article title if the Library subscribes to full
text (see an example) or
- Find It @ Brown to search the Library's catalog or place an interlibrary loan request
(see an example).
