- Research Process Instruction for Your Students:
- Request a class session (Topics could include research strategies, using the library, information fluency, plagiarism and citations)
- Request a class session (special collections)
- Course Pages: Request a customized research web site for your course prepared by your subject librarian.
- Access Special Collections: for research and teaching uses, including in multimedia projects. Contact your Subject Librarian for information.
- Course Reserves/OCRA/EARS: Request physical reserves, text e-reserves, and streaming audio and video.
- Library Course Carrel: At Rockefeller, Sciences and Orwig Libraries, Faculty may request a library study carrel for the use of an entire class. Anyone may check-out library material to the carrel, and use the material on the carrel. Personally owned items should not be placed on course carrels.
- Honor Reserves: Rockefeller, Sciences and Orwig have unmonitored reserve areas that operate on the honor system. Faculty or students may place material in Library-provided boxes for the use of others in the class.
- Training.brown.edu: Free research workshops and software training for the Brown community.
- Media Services provides loaner equipment, video reserves, training and media support for faculty, staff and students. Reserve equipment online, including a variety of loaner equipment for recording video and audio in digital and analog formats.
- ITG (Instructional Technology Group): The Library works closely with the ITG to provide e-Reserves and digital resources for use in myCourses and WebCT.
