WorldCat. With over 69 million records WorldCat is the world's largest bibliographic database. Use the
button or "Request this item" link to pass a search to the Library's new easyBorrow service.
Borrow Direct and Virtual Catalog allow you to place online requests for materials that are not available at Brown. You need your 14-digit library barcode to place requests. These services are generally faster than Interlibrary Loan but materials are not renewable. The Library's new easyBorrow system will search these catalogs on your behalf and place a request with the most appropriate service.
Center for Research Libraries holds over four million newspapers, journals, dissertations, archives, government publications and other traditional and digital resources. Emphasis is on materials produced outside the United States, and the Center has special strength in publications and archives from many developing nations. The Library's membership in CRL means that anything listed in the CRL catalog may be requested via Interlibrary Loan.
Ocean State Libraries (formerly CLAN) provides access to materials in all of the public libraries in Rhode Island. Brown students can obtain an OSL card by presenting a student ID.
