The Susan P. and Richard A. Friedman Study Center at the Sciences Library is a central gathering place for students with more than 27,000 square feet of study and social space. Level A, staffed by expert library and technology consultants, is dedicated almost entirely to study spaces -- both collaborative and individual. In addition to 65+ computer workstations, Level A includes 8 private group study rooms, an assistive technology room, and a multimedia workstation area.
The entire area has wireless internet access and comfortable furniture. There is a cafe in the Lobby which extends out onto the south terrace. Study spaces are located on Level A with additional quiet study space on the Mezzanine.
The Friedman Study Center is open 24/5 and closes only on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 2 AM to 10 AM. The library stacks and services close at 2 AM Sun-Thu and 10 PM Fri/Sat. The library stacks and services open at 8:30 AM weekdays and 10 AM weekends.
