Konstantin Bogaevsky (1872-1943)


He was born and died in Feodosia, on the Black Sea in the Crimea (now in Ukraine). He was a pupil of I.Aivazovsky and A.Fessler in Feodosia, and later studied at the School of Fine Art in the Academy of Arts, St. Petersburg (1891-1897), under A.Kuindzhi.He exhibited with the group around Ciaghilev's magazine, The World of Art, on at least one occasion.
