Project Description:
Develop a staff intranet which is flexible, robust, and easy for content owners to update and maintain. Explore open source Content Management Systems (such as Drupal) as a platform for the intranet.

Why is this project important?
The need for an intranet was put on hold as the Web Group focused on a user-centered redesign of the Library's public web. The Library wiki has provided an interim solution but lacks cohesiveness, is difficult to navigate, and is text-based rather than tool-based. Staff productivity and morale are negatively impacted by the absence of an effective intranet.
