major responsibilities:

• JOSIAH
  Coordinate software installation, maintenance and upgrades; Monitor system performance; Maintain system codes and manage user accounts and security; Customize web opac.
  
  
• SFX & MetaLib
  Install, configure, and test software and upgrades; Customize user interfaces; Configure resources, write and modify parsers.
  
  
• LIBRARY WEB
  Day-to-day management of Library Web; Convert static HTML pages to database driven applications.
  
  
• WEB DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS
  Integrate proprietary systems to the extent possible; Collaborate with other departments to develop software tools that benefit users. Integrate Library services with campus-wide services. Evaluate emerging technologies and utilize standards-based and open source solutions whenever possible.
