Rockefeller Library First Floor Learning Pavilion

You cannot have a world class University without a world class Library. The John D. Rockefeller Library is at the center of the University Library system and is a social and academic hub with hundreds of students, faculty and staff coming through its door every day. This gift would reclaim more than three fourths of the Library entry level for users and would transform the floor into a showcase space. The Learning Pavilion will combine new and emerging information technology with traditional resources in a revitalized, user-focused, service-rich environment including:

The Rockefeller Library helps shape the students’ experience of Brown and their memories of their time here. Updating these spaces so they both reflect Brown’s stature and continue to meet the students’ needs and expectations is amongst our highest priorities.
