Video Library
Faculty members are finding many more ways to integrate videos into their instruction. Students are also researching the information content found in videos to learn not only from their artistic value but also to learn how issues, problems, and people are portrayed through this medium. This desire to use and study videos is also enhanced by the growing technological resources available on campus and in the classroom. This gift of $500,000 would endow Brown’s video library and allow faculty to assign videos based on curricular needs. This opportunity will not only allow Brown to expand its video content resources, but also expand the format by which it can be delivered by capitalizing on the University’s technological infrastructure. All areas of study will benefit from this gift and the enhancement of the video library.
