Center for Digital Initiatives
The Center for Digital Initiatives at Brown is charged with digitizing and preserving selected collections, building databases and digital repositories, and developing programs to aid faculty and students who undertake digital projects or want to incorporate digital content into their teaching and research. The future of all scholarship and teaching will include the production and incorporation of digital content, and it will increasingly rely on the seamless integration of high-end technology. The Library has an important role in building bridges between digital library initiatives and the broader set of campus technologies that support Brown’s academic community.
