Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Inflation Calculator (Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis) find out equivalent pricing back to 1913. Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Data Services offers macroeconomic data for countries and cities throughout the world. It also provides market indicators and forecasts. EconData contains over 1,000 links to economic data sets. This site also breaks down data by provider, e.g. state, federal, private. Econstats offers economic data from different nations. Energy Information Administration provides official reports and statistcs on energy from the U.S. Government. Fraser (Federal Reserve Archival System for Economic Research) holds historial data on a number of different economic subjects for the United States. Handbook of International Economic Statistics is part of the Central Intelligence Agency and provides international economic statistics and maps. Index of Economic Freedom (2005) is a publication made by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street journal, containing global statistics, maps, and articles on economic policy. International Financial Statistics (IFS), compiled by the IMF, has data on exchange rates, banking, money, liquidity, interest rates, prices, production, etc. for most countries in the world. Library has copies from 1948 onward. International Trade Statistics contains annual international trade statistics provided by the World Trade Organization. Laborsta, part of the International Labor Organization (ILO), contains labor data from different countries. LexisNexis Academic Business has financial data about companies, EDGAR filings and annual reports. National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) contains and Agricultural Statistics Database with statistics on various commodities searchable by state and county level. National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS) is the main statistical compiler of Chinese data. Data are online from 1996 - present. National Center for Charitable Statistices (NCCS) has data about nonprofit sector of the U.S. NBER (National Bureau of Economic Research) is a nonprofit research organization with data sets about macroeconomics, industry, international trade, patents, etc. Penn World Table by the University of Pennsylvania gives international economic data from 1950-2000. Report on the American Workforce, 2001 provides pdf files of employment characteristics since 1948. Statistical Review of World Energy contains tables and maps on different sectors of the energy market, customizable energy tables, as well as comprehensive reports on the state of world energy.
