- Hemeroteca Digital: a recent digital project of the Biblioteca Nacional de España featuring historical periodicals and newspapers. This project consists of 143 titles which comprise 500.000 pages representing a wide variety of Spanish press of all types: political, satirical, technical, literary, sports, religious, etc., ranging from 1772 to 1933.
- Attend the Lisbon Book Fair in 2008 and organize a visit to the Biblioteca Nacional in Lisbon to meet with some of their librarians, particularly those in charge of digital projects and special collections. The Feira do Livro de Lisboa will be held May 24th-June 10, 2007. I believe that they usually organize it during the last week of May and the first week of June (similar to the one in Madrid) so we can start planning for 2008 or 2009.
