 1984-present; Art Full Text offers full text plus abstracts and indexing of an international array of peer-selected publications--now with expanded coverage of Latin American, Canadian, Asian and other non-Western art, new artists, contemporary art, exhibition reviews, and feminist criticism. Full text coverage for selected periodicals is also included. In addition to articles, Art Full Text indexes reproductions of works of art that appear in indexed periodicals. Specialized Resources Getty Provenance Index Consists of six databases of information on the history of collecting and the provenance of individual works of art, gathered from sales catalogues, archival records, and museum files. Supplies a wealth of data drawn from British, French, and Netherlandish art sales catalogues of the nineteenth century and documents supplied by major European archives.  
ICONCLASS The ICONCLASS system contains definitions of objects, persons, events, situations and abstract ideas. With these definitions one can 'describe' the subjects of visual images. 13,000 unique keywords help to locate the notations needed for describing or indexing a picture.
