T. Whiting Bancroft Fund

Established in 1901 by bequest of Sarah Dunn Jones Bancroft, widow of Professor Bancroft, and gift of the Honorable F. A. Gaskill, Class of 1866, to be used to purchase books in English literature. Professor Bancroft was class of 1859 and on the Brown faculty from 1868-1890.
